What to pack
Laundry is included in the daily rate, so you can pack light. Focus on good boots, quiet clothes in muted colours and layers for cold mornings.
Clothing and boots
We hunt on foot, so comfort and quiet matter more than anything.
- Broken-in, comfortable walking boots.
- Quiet clothing in muted greens, browns and khaki.
- Warm layers and a jacket for early mornings, especially from May to August.
- A wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
- Something comfortable for evenings around the fire.
Gear
- Good binoculars.
- A headlamp or small torch.
- Your camera, with spare batteries.
- Any medication you need, with enough for the whole trip.
- Plug adapters: Namibia uses the round-pin South African plugs (types D and M).
Documents
- Passport, valid for at least six months beyond your trip, with at least three blank pages.
- Your visa confirmation, if you applied online.
- If you bring a rifle: the firearm documents listed in our firearms guide.
- Travel and medical insurance details.
On the farm
There is Wi-Fi and power. Laundry is included in the daily rate, so a few changes of hunting clothes are enough.
