This website is run by Okangawa Farming Partnership t/a Okangawa Farming & Hunting Safaris, Farm Thorn Trees No. 247, Okahandja District, Namibia. You can reach us at info@okangawahunting.com.

When you send us an estimate or an enquiry, we receive what you enter: your name, email address and/or WhatsApp number, country, party size, dates, the animals you’re interested in and any notes. We use it to reply to you and to prepare a quote. This is necessary to take steps at your request before a booking (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

When you contact us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive the details you send and use them to reply.

To deliver the site and protect it from spam and abuse, our providers process technical data such as your IP address and browser type. This is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

If you use the AI assistant on this site, the messages you type are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. We don’t store chat transcripts. If you ask Andrew to follow up, a short summary is sent with your enquiry.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify you.

Google Analytics is used only if you accept analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

We use these providers to run the site: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Resend (sending enquiry emails), HubSpot (our customer database, where enquiries are recorded), Google (Google Analytics, if you consent), Cloudflare (spam protection), Upstash (rate limiting) and Anthropic (the AI assistant). Some of them process data outside the EU, including in the USA.

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to answer your enquiry and handle any booking, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.

You can ask for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, or to transfer it to you. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@okangawahunting.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in your country.
